Simarro Group

Privacy policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026.

This policy explains how Simarro Group processes personal data when you request information, quotations or services relating to electrical installations, electromechanical and industrial maintenance, automation, heating and cooling, plumbing and solar energy.

1. Data controller

SIMARRO EGINEERING GROUP S.L., tax identification number B23841646, trading as Simarro Group. Contact address: Avinguda Països Catalans, 2, Tordera, Barcelona, Spain. For privacy enquiries and to exercise your rights, contact info@simarrogroup.com.

2. Data we collect

Forms collect the information you enter: your name, email address, telephone number where requested, subject and message. If you request a quotation or engage our services, we may also need the contracting person’s or company’s details, the work location, billing details and technical information about the installation that you provide.

Provide only the information needed for your enquiry. Do not send health information, passwords, complete identity documents or unnecessary personal information about other people. Fields marked as required allow us to identify and respond to your request; without them, we may be unable to assist you.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Enquiries and quotations: assessing technical needs, requesting clarification and arranging visits. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. For general enquiries unrelated to a potential contract, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding to communications.
  • Contracted services: coordinating work, maintenance, assistance, technical documentation and communications about the job. The basis is performance of the contract.
  • Billing and administrative obligations: managing invoices and meeting tax, accounting and official reporting obligations. The basis is compliance with legal obligations.
  • Security and claims: preventing misuse of the website and handling incidents or defending claims, based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service and the parties’ rights.

Submitting a form or requesting a quotation does not subscribe you to advertising. Any processing requiring consent will be explained separately; you may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Requests are not handled through solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Retention

Enquiries and quotations are retained while they are being handled and followed up. Once no longer needed, data will be deleted or, where applicable, restricted for the periods relevant to potential liabilities. Service documentation, invoices and supporting records are kept during the contractual relationship and for the periods required by tax and commercial rules. Identifying information will not be kept merely because you contacted us once.

5. Access and service providers

Data may be accessed by the people handling your request and, where necessary, web hosting, email, IT maintenance, administrative and professional advisory providers supporting the business. Information shared with technical collaborators will be limited to what is needed to coordinate the work. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities, financial institutions or courts where legally required or necessary to manage the contract and payments.

6. Browsing and external services

The website uses WordPress and Burst Statistics to obtain browsing statistics, such as pages visited and browser characteristics. Statistical data is managed within this website. Cookies and measurement technologies require specific configuration and are separate from the information you submit through forms.

Contact pages include Google Maps. When a map loads, your browser connects to Google, which may receive your IP address and browser information. If you use the WhatsApp contact option, the conversation also passes through that service. You can contact us directly by email if you prefer not to use these tools.

Google and WhatsApp apply their own policies and may process data outside the European Economic Area under the mechanisms and safeguards they describe: Google privacy policy and WhatsApp privacy policy. You may request information about the providers involved in your enquiry and applicable safeguards by emailing our contact address.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability, and object to processing. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Send your request to info@simarrogroup.com, identifying the right you wish to exercise and providing the information needed to locate your request. Further identification will only be requested where necessary to verify your identity.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

8. Updates and contact

This policy will be updated when our services or the way we process data change. The update date appears above. Please send any questions about your personal data to info@simarrogroup.com.
